The Archway Team had many highlights this past week at the Evergreen Classic Horse Show. One of these highlights was having Emmie return to competition after a 2 1/2 year absence. We made a last minute decision to put Emmie on the truck to Carnation when we realized Jenna (at 9 years old) was growing too tall for her medium pony. We decided to have Lauren show her in the Schooling Hunter Division just to see how Emmie would perform. On Wednesday and Thursday Emmie's performance exceeded our expectations!! She won great ribbons in both the Low and the Schooling Hunters with Lauren.

On Thursday we decided to let Jenna take the reins and entered her in the 12 and under Equitation on the Flat and they won the class! They worked perfect together. We had a flashback of Vivienne riding her at her first show. Just like with Vivienne; Emmie and Jenna just clicked and they formed an instant partnership. They were entered in the Low classes over fences and worked up to the 2'6" placing well in each class. So on to Thunderbird they go to compete in the Pre Childrens!

As Horseman, we are privileged to work with some very special horses. We are forever grateful to the Western Family for entrusting us with this amazing horse. Our experience with these animals can be summed up in one word ( or with Emmie's show name) -"PRICELESS"!
